In an effort to reduce the exposure of UNC Police officers to the COVID-19 virus while remaining committed to assisting community members on a personal and professional basis during this current health emergency, UNC Police will be enacting a temporary “Special Order: Telephone Response Plan.”

Special Events Coordinator Tiesha Williams works with faculty and students to arrange security for campus events, ranging from road races to notable speakers.

Feb. 11 Update: The suspicious driver who was reported to have interacted with students on campus last week was stopped in his vehicle on campus by UNC Police and identified around 10:30 p.m., Feb. 10.
