We are pleased to announce that Thomas C. Younce will join Carolina as interim chief of UNC Police, effective July 1, 2019.

UNC Police will engage in its regular re-accreditation process in July 2019. The CALEA assessment team will host a public comment session in the Redbud Room of the William and Ida Friday Center at 6 p.m. on Wed., July 10.

A 2010 Carolina graduate, James David’s career path took him in a very different direction from his economics major, or so he thought. David distills his role into the act of illustrating to the campus community that there are people who care behind the badge.
